This study develops and applies a comprehensive framework for assessing and implementing coal-fired power plant (CFPP) transition pathways in Malaysia. It outlines a step-by-step approach to prioritising, evaluating, and implementing transition scenarios, encompassing policy, financial, and just transition dimensions. The research specifically addresses the Malaysian context, with attention to Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak.
