This map contains 117 evidence synthesis studies from a scoping review of REDD+ commissioned by FCDO Global Tech Directorate's Evidence Fund for the REDD+ Team, FCDO/DESNZ International Forests Unit. The EGM displays the distribution of evidence in the included systematic reviews across the Research Questions and the scale of the REDD+ (Project level, JREDD, nested and other). Each of the six Research Questions in Annex 1 was first categorised under a top-level theme (Impact, Implementation, and Design & Management) and then broken down further into key subthemes. The result is a map that is structured as a matrix of research questions (columns) and scale (rows), segmented by type of review (systematic review, rapid evidence synthesis, scoping review, EGM, and agency synthesis and summary of a collection of papers). Each cell represents the volume of reviews addressing that specific intersection, making it easy to identify areas rich in evidence and areas with notable gaps in the systematic review literature.
